Local Kraków
THE CITY BEYOND THE POSTCARD
STORIES, NEIGHBOURHOODS & RIDES BEYOND THE USUAL ROUTE
Kraków is much more than its Old Town.
Our local experiences explore the neighbourhoods, stories and landscapes that often remain outside the usual visitor routes — on foot and by bicycle.
We move through the city slowly, connecting history with everyday life: from the transformations of the Second World War and the legacy of communism to monasteries, residential neighbourhoods, riverside landscapes and places where local people still eat, meet and spend their time.
These experiences are not designed around seeing as much as possible. They are about understanding a little more.

Walking Tours
Kraków Old Town & Jewish Quarter
Walking experience · 3 hours
Group size: 4–10 guests
Transport: Not required
Experience two of Kraków’s most distinctive historic areas in one unhurried walk.
We begin in the Old Town, exploring the city’s medieval core, its architecture and the stories that shaped Kraków over centuries, before continuing towards Kazimierz, the historic Jewish Quarter.
Rather than treating them as two separate sightseeing areas, the experience connects their histories, communities and changing identities.
Kraków Under German Occupation
Walking experience · 2.5–3 hours
Group size: 4–10 guests
Transport: Not required
Explore how Kraków was transformed during the German occupation of the Second World War.
This experience looks beyond the major landmarks to understand how the city itself was reorganised — its streets, public spaces, institutions and everyday life.
Through lesser-known locations and local stories, we explore the process of Germanisation, the changing identity of the city and the impact of occupation on the people who lived here.
Nowa Huta: The City Socialism Built
Walking experience · 3 hours
Group size: 4–10 guests
Transport: Local public transport
Discover one of Europe’s most fascinating examples of socialist urban planning.
Nowa Huta was created as more than a new district. It was designed as a vision of how people should live, work and participate in a new socialist society.
We explore its architecture, workers’ lives, propaganda, resistance and the contrast between political ideals and everyday reality.

Kraków on two wheels
Leaving the city centre behind opens up another Kraków — riverside landscapes, neighbourhoods, monasteries and places most visitors never reach.
Tyniec: Abbey & River by Bike
Cycling experience · 3.5–4 hours
Group size: 4–10 guests
Transport: Bicycle rental
Leave central Kraków behind and follow the Vistula River towards Tyniec, home to one of Poland’s oldest Benedictine monasteries.
This relaxed cycling experience combines riverside landscapes, local history, village life and the quiet atmosphere surrounding the abbey.
Rather than simply visiting another monument, the journey offers a chance to experience the slower landscape that exists just beyond the city.
Kraków Beyond the Centre by Bike
Cycling experience · 3–4 hours
Group size: 4–10 guests
Transport: Bicycle rental
Ride beyond Kraków’s most visited areas and discover neighbourhoods, monasteries, communist-era traces and everyday places that rarely appear on conventional city itineraries.
The experience combines local history, architecture and small curiosities of daily life, while also introducing guests to cafés, local eateries and neighbourhood places that we genuinely recommend.
It is a different way to understand Kraków — not through its most famous attractions, but through the places in between.

The places in between matter too.
Neighbourhood cafés, local eateries, quiet streets and everyday places are part of how we experience Kraków — and part of what we share with our guests.
